Did it ever occur to you,

that you fell in love?

Did it ever occur to you,  

that you missed her?

And did it ever occur to you,

that she felt the same?





But Destiny played on you,

and played you hard and good.

Even in your dreams, the moon

and stars would hide.

Even your music, was sang

out of tune.



Did it ever occur to you,

that life goes on and on.

And someday, destiny might smile

and change her mind.

Did it ever occur to you,

that possibilities are real.

And maybe, just maybe,

you and I shall meet again!
