Tonight I wrote a page or two.

Instead of telling my thoughts to you.

I know you need someone to talk to

But ideas this lucid are long over due.

Except I didn’t write a page at all.

I don’t know how long we’ve been on this call

But the thoughts are long since out of my head

And your dull dilemma’s are putting me to bed.
