Your Grace

Your grace astounds me

I can hardly grasp that which You offer freely

This is one thing that I must admit

I do not fully understand

Why should You

Come to this earth

And die for me

I can not grasp

This amazing gift

That even if I were the only one on earth

You still would have come just for me

This causes me great confusion

Everytime I try to comprehend

This is a paradox that I want to understand

And yet know I never will while I am here

When I arrive in Your presence

I know that I shall understand

Until that time

I live in disarray

Not knowing what makes me worthy

And yet knowing that I have been made to be

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem was written while I was listening to a Josh Groban song in Latin. Thwe words just sort of came to me without even having to think about them.
