Where They Should Be Crying, They're Laughing Instead

where they should be crying

they're laughing instead

I feel

half alive

but

mostly I'm dead

I see my breath

where

there's no one left

I'm

kind of alive

but

slightly in death

caught my

memories between the thresh

and hearts breaking fresh

where

they should say no

they

all say yes

some way, some how

I'm

the least impressed

my

face shows you less

but i'll never tell

so

they'll all second guess

where they should be crying

they're laughing instead

I feel

half alive

but

mostly I'm dead

morning come

two tears press

I face the world

kind of like

how dead people dress

in

the way that they look

stiff

impression on my flesh

so

I'm never mistook

but

always in distress

with

no more love to suppress

where they should be crying

they're laughing instead

I feel

half alive

but

mostly I'm dead

The world's a stage and we are the fools. If they laugh, leave them alone. All is it is laughter of the fool, not at the other. Other than that, I love your expressions.

"I face the world
kind of like
how dead people dress
in
the way that they look
stiff
impression on my flesh
so
I'm never mistook
but
always in distress
with
no more love to suppress"

What other better way to say it is nothing else but yours...

i really got into that one. The staggered lines of writing are fun to follow and the rhyme worked well. You might have inspired me to write something. Maybe if you have time you can come check out my stuff. But anyways, keep on writing the kick-ass stuff. ^_^
