so many years

shes been chaseing love

in all the wrong places

thought she wasnt enough

gave in too quick

then pulled away even faster

all her relationships

were all disasters

thinks shes stuck in the dark

but they're all playing games

thought they all fell in love

but there were never any flames

she gave herself to them

till there was nothing left to give

now shes hopeless and alone

wishing that she did

tries to keep her heart locked up

says she threw away the key

but shes not fooling them

and nothings fooling me

says shes giving up

she'll never love again

but she cant control her heart

shes always hurting in the end
