Sometimes I like to reminisce 

And think of certain things like this 

Special memories I am holdin'

Of girls who were always golden 

These four girls could steal your heart 

From them you would never part

So it gives me such a start

Can't recall who played what part?

Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sofia

Tell me what is going on here 

Who was Rose? Who could it be?

No, Bea was Arthur, per Dorothy

Who was Arthur? I'd bet he

Was friends with Estelle Getty

I forget, I think I'm right  

Didn't care for Bea, loved Betty White

This is confusing me, oh man

Who was Rue McClanahan?

She was Blanche, she loved her men

What was I talking about again?

They say memories will sustain you

Some can make you go insane too

The Golden Girls were such a treat 

Now only exist as a repeat
