It only takes but one to kill

Twenty one killed Tuesday 

Another day in the USA 

You say we need strong background checks

But no, the GOP objects

And many suffer the effects

We offer our heartfelt thoughts and prayers

And ask, who in Congress dares

To take on the NRA

I hear nothing but silence 

Is there no stopping gun violence

It's just another day in the USA...
