Some Enchanted Evening

Folder:
Love

Some enchanted evening,

wrapped in your arms,

the moonlight reflects upon us,

emphasizing your charms.

I take a glance,

into your deep brown eyes.

I see that you're sincere,

unlike a lot of other guys.

You kiss me gently,

sweeping me off of my feet.

I thank my lucky stars above,

that we got the chance to meet.

Some enchanted evening,

you're holding me tight,

I wish that we could stay this way,

and never have a fight.

Our love would keep growing,

I'd always be in your heart.

So in love with each other,

We'd never be a world apart.

Some enchanted evening,

lying with you under the stars,

Your soul would heal my heart,

Repairing all of my scars.

I haven't experienced,

a time like that yet.

Hopefully sometime,

the chance I will get.

To have you love me,

the way that I love you,

It would be but a miracle,

for any man to.

Some enchanted evening,

you will fall in love with me.

Until that evening comes along,

wishing upon stars is where I'll be.

i liked this alot. it had a nice flow. very sweet. but the very last part you lost the flow. and the rythm stopped. you had in the others saying "you" "to" or "yet" get" but on the last one you had "me" "stars". that's all i saw that didn't seem right. overall it was a wonderful poem
