Bringing hot chocolate and candy canes,

Jumping in puddles when it rains.

Holding my hand when I’m in doubt,

Buying me tampons when I run out.



Making faces to get me to giggle,

Or tickling my toes until I wiggle,

Holding umbrellas to stop the rain,

Not noticing my weight gain.



Singing me songs when I can’t sleep,

Making promises we’ll always keep.

Standing firm, always by my side,

Love forever until the day we day.
