“Hello you”

“Long time, no speak”

I held in my anger

I bit hard on my cheek



“What’ve you been upto?”

“How have you been?”

I didn’t want to speak

Just wasn’t that keen



I turned away

And started to walk

“Wait a minute!”

“We need to talk!”



I’d done with talking

“Too late forget it”

She started shouting

Same old hissy fit.



I walked away and went back home

I thought to write a letter

Even though I know I don’t want you

Maybe this would be better



“How can you expect me to forgive you?”

“After everything that you’ve done”

“You cheated on me, you ruined me”

“Then you chose to run”



“Well here’s my letter to you”

“To tell you it came at a cost”

“You change your mind, now it’s me that you want..”

“Well it’s me that you’ve fucking lost…”
