All Talk

I always knew you were the one to leave

You've been uninterested all along

You speak so highly about what you can do

But I knew you would be wrong.

You talk too much.

Your words are just words

Something you never do.

You speak so great

but where are the answers

that I've been expecting you to answer to?

You're all talk

You just seem to walk

You're a pickle in a jar.

You try to negotiate

As I anticipate

Your actions to do me harm.

Now go on.

Keep on talking.

I'm listening to you babble on.

Do something to me.

Yet I know I stay free.

C'mon, I can't keep calm.

I knew you were afraid

The moment I stayed.

I'm only an obstacle in the way.

Then stop talking.

Keep on walking.

You're just a weakling in the pond.

Nathaniel London Jr.'s picture

Wonderful and very well written, the mind of a woman when
expressed is a beautiful moment to remember. You say what
has to be said in a style that most young men would be afraid to hear.Is this a true story, an adventure or someone of an immature nature while passing through life!?!
Anyway I am a poet and a lyricist and I use this site to interact in a positive and respectful fashion. I love to write as well read the works of others posting here, but the ability to exchange ideas have been a real cartoon show
with very few responses and at best kinda bleak in warm and healthy feelings. Respectfully, N. London.Jr.
