Birthdays are the worst

another year gone

another year closer to death

another year closer to that nail

in the cofin

a new number to put above

your head

and a new number to say when

someone asks you your age

atleast for another year anyway

thats if you last the full

year

but you got to get through that hell

of a day first

you have to push through the family

that turn up with cards and stupid

presents you don't want

and they stand around breathing

around you

"happy birthday"

"Congrats"

"Have a good day"

"I remember when you was

this big"

"You've put weight on"

all i want to say to these

b*****ds is

"how long you got left"

and "When you buggering off

home"

it's just a drag

sleep or booze is the only

way out

drink myself into a coma

but i can't do that because i

have to do a speech

say thank you to the people i

have no interest in seeing

"thanks for coming"

"it's been fun"

lies are fantastic on a day like

this

and i recommend people try

it

now just to eat the ice cream

and cake and pass out on the best

birthday present someone like

me could get Jack Daniels

I hope i never see this day

again
