Black rose,

There's still hope.

Your colors haven't faded away

I know you feel all that's left is pain.

Black rose, Let it go.

There's nothing left, you know.

I watch as your color fades even more,

Pain digging deep into your core.

Black Rose I beg ye, do not fade,

You'll find joy again, on another day.

Your darkness steadily still grows,

Threatening to swallow you whole.

Black Rose, please don't cry,

I'll show you how, again to fly.

I see your colors slowly coming back,

A beautiful shade of red, no longer so black.

Red, red rose, look at you!

Bright, beautiful, shiny and new,

You fought the darkness and won,

It will lie in wait, it's not quite done.

Red Rose, you've got this,

Know your enemy and do not dismiss.

Keep the darkness at bay,

Keep fighting it day after day.
