In the Arms of A Friend -- you will find a shoulder to cry on,

In the Arms of A Friend -- you know that everything will turn out right,

In the Arms of A Friend -- you will know someone cares,

In the Arms of A Friend -- you will find the strength to finish the day,

The Arms are always open,

A Dry shoulder always ready,

A Friend always around,

Whether a phone call away,

Or within arms length,

A Friend is always there,

To open their arms and heart,

And give you the shoulder,

And the warm hug,

To let you know,

They care.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem i wrote for a good friend of mine named Courtney Leftkowitz who will be moving soon back to Las Vegas with family. She had just broke up with her boyfriend and i wrote it in hopes that, even if in a small way, it would make her feel better.
