I sit alone in darkness

With only the absence

I smile to see him

Happy as can be

Perhaps true love

Is a one-way street

Only he can be happy

Perhaps he won't long for me

The way I wish for him

Perhaps there is another

Let there be another

Perfect

Just for me, all right

Pure as moon light

Deep as the ocean

Warm as a beach getaway

Caring as my saviour

Patient as a saint

But who deserves him

Be not I

For I long for my first love

Long gone, forever
