Clouds...
not for long
are they
sunshrouds..

with their semispherical
curves on top while they are often
flat on the bottom
*
Merciful rain spun into
visible floating mercy
*
Sometimes
Zeus-armed lightning
gunboats.
*
Lying on my back
watching them slows
me down
*
With their gray and white
they foil the blue.
*
Endless play of shadows
on the sea
*
To create clouds one
must have evaporating trees
*
God send rain miracles
to all the deserts of the world
