Poetic fools

            Forsaken poets

               Scribed lovelorn years,

                   Jilted reckless lovers

                     Wept worthless tears.

                     Weaving words

                   To revere as art

               Sculpting thoughts

            To ease the heart.

          Dreams of glory

        Shall die in vain.

       No fickle rhyme,

     No sweet refrain.

     Embark on a path

       From joy to sadness,

          Swim in wisdom

            To drown in madness.

            Creating conundrums

         In the voids you inhabit

      The only solution

   Kill the rabbit.
