Blame it on science

We walk to find the noise

I changed it all too quickly

It’s the repetition that we extend

Blame it on science instead of silence.

You can’t discover this code,

It’s coded in language and ink.

I decided to look up when the world was caving in.

Is there no future in our hands?

Why spin the wheel that doesn’t produce?

If only I could keep my head on tonight,

I’d tell you how I really feel.

"It is a terrible thing to be so open. It is as if my heart put on a face and walked into the world" -- Sylvia Plath.
