You trusted me off blind faith

Three years ago when I made a rather violent accusation of a mutual friend

You did not get his side of the story

Guess I was being dramatic

Or out right lying

I spoke

You heard

And that was that

You trusted me off blind faith

So maybe that’s why I reciprocate that faith

That blindness

You spoke

I heard

And that was that

Our clothing peeled off

Our bodies entwined

We slept with who we are

Wondering if maybe it was the lack of light in our eyes
