Remember when we were kids and life was impacting?
We didn’t stop to talk about it we just did it
Lived like a Nike campaign on steroids
There was no such thing as ‘we should talk about where we go from here”
There was no hesitation
There was just kisses followed by more kisses
And then one day the words ‘will you be my girlfriend?”
Sure heart break hit you like a transport truck speeding down a highway
But so did love
And you felt everything
Deeply
Purely
True as the sun setting at dusk
Maybe it wasn’t perfect
But it was real
Don’t you ever want to go back to that?

I love it! Cute and playful, but for some reason, it reminded me of those adrenaline junkie days. Probably just the night I had.

no in a way I guess thats partly it, the rush of being new, clean, and excited by everything. In a way childhood is kind of like being on an adrenaline high
