Men who have a rugged shell and seldom shown sensitive side
The man on the run who embraces life recklessly
Who doesn’t have time to be tied down by anyone or anything
Yet is willing to risk his life for a woman who’s got more guts and bravado than him
The man who would coerce your love
Give you a kingdom to forget the world inside you
Who ultimately respects your boundaries the moment you set them
The boy who speaks of love like deep roots in the earth to cover up his top soil
Tragically clinging to his existence in order to not exist
Who’ll write you a story better than your own and die still longing for the salt of your lips
