Thin Red Shade

What am I doing I can not see

A red cloud blocks my view

leaving fantasies far and few.

Must not act and try to hide

all the regret I have inside.

It burns at my mind

a hot red steel rod.

The wrench has been thrown in

it breaks up the gears.

It tears me away inside

a little each day, what must I pay?

A universe unnamed fun and games

plots and frames each with a little shame.

I must stay more true

I can't do this, not to you.

Why oh why does self conscience

subside, leaving a small devil inside?

She fills my head with deceitful things

try to cause my untimely yet inevitable defeat.

My vision is blurred

I can not see

please someone explain this to me.
