Queen of the End

The stars are Her gown,

Glimmers and shimmers amid

The wisps of Void that

Swirl about Her ankles.

She strides through

Airless skies, far

Beyond our mortal

Understanding,

Gathering to Her

All the forgotten

Souls that clamor

For attention among the

Outer realms of space.

With a snap of Her fingers,

Pale skin covered by dark

Sigils and runes,

Entire universes collapse

And cry out for mercy.

She has none.

In a single exhale,

New worlds are born

From her frozen breath,

Strewn far and wide.

The space amid worlds

Spins with their passing.

I love the way you write.

I love the way you write. This paints a picture of a cosmic queen in my head and the line "In a single exhale, New worlds are born From her frozen breath, Strewn far and wide." is bloody brilliant. You know you're quickly becoming one of my favorites here. Keep it up!!

Long days and pleasant nights

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
