Playing A Dangerous Game

a tale of a young woman alone in a graveyard breaking one of the biggest ouija board rules

Poised to play by myself in the dark

Let me know if its ok

All alone here in this creepy graveyard

You would't dare to join me, would you?

I'd surely welcome the company

Now I feel the spirits stirring

God only knows what happens from here

A shiver dances its way up my spine

Darkness falls and a chill sweeps in

A low moan comes thru the trees

Nothing else here moves or makes even the smallest sound

Goodness and sanity seem to have long ago fled this place

Everywhere I look I feel there could be something unearthly lurking

Reckless and bold I laugh in the devil's face

Outragous and fearless

U are among the few I believe who can understand

Slowly I move the pointer across this board of mystery

Guided by souls unseen

All I can be is but a vessel for their message from beyond life's walls

Monsters in Hell and angels in Heaven call forth so many names

Everyone reading this I implore for you to soon reach out and receive your calling from whichever side.....

In which you believe

I was spellbound throughout

I was spellbound throughout this ominous story about a game that is certainly no joke. Your flair for eloquently sinister drama kept the lines rolling fast while the suggestion of real peril at the end added some shivers and mystery.

Well-written and engaging. Enjoyed!
