The situation ended, yet I am still reeling
a sudden state of happiness is what I am feeling
claim I'm not an adult, yet into that way tread
buried in the pillow, feet dangling off the bed
mounded are the blankets under which I hide
allowing myself this little thrill, this arousing ride
Closed my eyes and shivered, then walked with a smile
I won't be doing that again, at least not for a while.
