My Sun

Respectful as I am to the sun,

Graced me with a golden glow,

Touched me with a gentle heat,

His charity grew cold,

His amber eyes shone blue,

His flaming heart died down,

And within his warming arms,

I felt myself drown,

Deep into depression,

Sinking into sea,

And though the ships are waiting,

It’s too late to rescue me.
