I thought this was it
love at first sight
and it was...
until that day
I don't know what happened
or, maybe I do, that's the problem
One great week, The week of Coronas
It should have been longer
but sometimes I wonder
If I loved you, would I feel this way
Sure I liked you, I guess you were cool
Some might say cute or maybe beautiful
Those nights we had were ok
but just ok, nothing to great
Did I say I love you?
or that you were fun
I'm sorry you loved me
and wanted much more
I just liked you
but, not anymore
hey!! sorry im type late...being that you commented on my poems a loong time ago. its just now im really lookin around. your poems are really good...(how many people told you that? add me to the list..lol) and this poem i like in particular. cuz i've been in situations like this. likin a guy who has no clue, or who finally does, and can't because im seen strictly as "good friend..." yep, it hurts, but i guess it can be understood how hard it is to turn down someone you love and value as a friend...(jus try tellin me that when i was on cloud nine...lol, no hope) sorry didnt mean to write an essay -- i guess it shows i love writin...take it easy, and keep writing!
