* The Raven *

                 On a cold dark

                and stormy night a

                raven circled over

                me to free me from

                a lifetime of pain

              and misery and a stream

            of blood pouring out of my body .

             * this poem is all mine *

Beautiful symbolism, nice choice of words. Short, simple, but amazing.

This is really good. It reminds me of the movie The Crow in which the crow takes a soul to the afterlife. Good job!

It sounds to me as if the Raven is the woman's spiritual totem, as in the First Nations mysticism. The Raven is associated with death and watches over those who are ready to pass over to a new journey.

This was well written, despite the darkness of the subject. I really enjoyed it, the flow was smooth.
