Emotionless For a heart so tender as mine
Lying broken on the floor
As you carelessly walk over it
Like so many others have done before
It screams out in pain
At the imprint of your heel
But as you walk away
Numbness is all my heart can feel
This has happened before
Someone else left the debris
As my heart lie broken on the floor
You swept it up and threw it away
Somehow my fragile heart
Can't be broken anymore
There's nothing left to tear apart
It's just dust lying on the floor
it takes a long while, but it does heal,if you let it. in 15-20 years you'll be able to say" it took a long time, but it's healing now." god bless you
