NEVER SPEAK A LIE

NEVER SPEAK A LIE

Never speak a lie, said she;

Suffer as, thou art to be,

Nay not, no man teach;

Thy truth shall help you reach,

The Good Heaven, you ought to reach!

Too hard, they say; ‘To speak the Truth’

Too bad they say; ‘To speak the lie’

To speak the truth, and stick to it

And face the ignominy of life...?

Oh! Ye, the wretched lie,

Thou art you play with life;

Should the poor creature on earth

Be scared of thy dreadful farce

And perish with thy vengeful act?

Author's Notes/Comments:

Mom advised us not to speak lies and stick on to truth so that even if we were to suffer temporarily, it would help us to reach the right destiny at the end.

Never Speak a Lie

Yes, mothers know the truth and wnt to share the same fact! Sooner or later lies are unearthed.

Being a human on earth as well as an Indian by birth, you very well know the value of mothers who play an important role in moulding the character of their kids. Even if their children reach adulthood or manhood they always treat them as their kids and never forget to tell them what's right and wrong. That's a unique character of any Indian mother I suppose. Hats off to them.  Thanks a lot for your comment.
