From My Heart



This is not a beautiful poem my love

its just genuine words from my heart

words that go deeper than they sound

for I will always cherish the love in you I've found.



I look up into the sky and see you smiling

wander in my dreams finding you waiting,

I hear a love song and listen to you singing

from a distance,

you always know what I am feeling.



When its raining,

do you know for whom I'm thinking?

When the sun is shining bright,

do you know for whom I'm missing?

When its raining,

I hear you calling

When its bright,

I see you smiling.



This is not a beautiful poem my love

its just genuine words from my heart,

this is not a great poem my love

but it really is,
