A Million Tears

I have cried a million tears,

But it doesn't wash away the pain.

For there's nothing I can do,

to bring you back again.

My tears fall like raindrops,

My heart is ripped and torn.

I just keep reminiscing,

About the day you were born.

You were so small and fragile,

Your eyes so full of life.

I could never have imagined,

One day your life would be full of strife.

You grew up fast and strong son,

Like a strong oak tree.

Your spirit was so out going,

You were so wild and free.

YOur laughter was contagious,

Your smile made all the girl's hearts sing.

Just like a rose bud blooming,

On the first day of spring.

You had your life ahead of you,

Everything was falling into place.

But then you left us son,

And a huge hole took your place.

I want so bad to hold you,

To tell you it will all be fine.

I want to sit and chat with you,

And tell you your life will be divine.

But now you are gone son,

you left us all behind.

To wonder what really happened,

And why the world to you was so unkind.

YOu left us all wishing,

You had just picked up the phone.

And called someone that night,

So you knew you were not alone.

But instead you left us son,

you chose to say goodbye.

With silent words you whispered,

Mummy please don't cry.
