hope this gets to you gotta give it a shot

we all have so much to share

if you dare to go there

see where it takes you

see what it makes you

realize

hear the cries

see the tears in these eyes

reaching out

shut out

why

I try

too hard I guess

must digress

and stay in the background where I belong

hope someday someway someone sings my song

and realizes it was meant to be all along
