If I had only one question to ask
I often wonder what that would be
Why am I here God, what do You want me to be
please lead me to The Way to accomplish THE TASK
the reason why I am here
to do what I have to do isn't so clear
please enlighten me
I hope it won't frighten me
I trust what You say
let me get on with it today
way too much time lost already
please allow me to be ready
to accept Your will into my heart
to embellish my art
let us never be far apart
let me hear Your call
catch me when I fall
keep me near and dear
accept me for who I am
your spiritual daughter named Pam
It's funny you should say what song inspired this because when I first saw the title of this poem it made me think of that song. I love this poem by the way, I think it is beautiful.
