The Charmed Ones

Are we charmed

should we be alarmed

haven't harmed

at least hope not

poetry hits the spot

where does it come from

some magical sum

of thoughts and ideas and feeling

keep the senses reeling

is it mystical or magic

certainly not tragic

do we have secret powers

is it really ours

or borrowed from some secret place

we cannot trace

are we gifted

our spirits are lifted

when we say what we have to say

in a magical poetical way

Author's Notes/Comments: 

my take or insight on the art of poetry from a magical perspective...just watched Charmed the other day and heard the theme song from it on the radio this morning at work and it inspired me to write this poem about poetry...I really do wonder what the source of it is but it doesn't matter as long as it works....I feel like mine works most of the time anyways...it is magical to me...hope you feel the same way...Pam

poetry is a magical calling very overpowering demanding a constant answer but it comes from a much higher source then what we deem "magic"

Hey, good poem, I used to watch Charmed all the time until Peru left then I didn't watch it anymore cause I didn't really like Paige all that much. But yeah I used to love that show and I absolutely love the theme song to it.
