THE HANGOVER OF YESTERDAY'S CHARM

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

how you
so beautifully
displayed
for me
the stunning
panoramic view
of your
very soul
you are
my utmost
exquisite art
in such
magnificent
human form
a real, true man
consolidated into such
flesh and blood storm
so pure
your words
elegantly
flow out
and I am
the rocks
upon which
they giddily
disperse
sunlight
upon your visage
is a vision
to my longing's worst
possible ache
that is
you stand so tall
in my heart
a glorious
flawless edifice
to such a fine character
of masculinity's own
most honored traits
a true masterpiece
called tender endearing man
Why, Davinci himself
could have painted you
and yes I must confess
I still suffer
that very same hangover
of your yesterday's charm...................

Author's Notes/Comments:

when I feel a bit down I tend to create a great lover in my mind and drape him in all the poetic attributes I find so personally appealing to me then I write an ode of love and admiration to his beautifully made up image. This here love poem is one of those very creations I just mentioned. Enjoy................

Hey Melissa, no wonder why

Hey Melissa, no wonder why you are such a sensual poet. Admittedly, I imagine my hero more often than not and always end up with the same face and physique which is funny because, come to think of it, his face is in shadows but in my heart I know he is what I want him to be,-- too perfect and unreal, hahaha! Maybe that's why I fail writing anything sexy? I'm glad your imagination is more vivid. I enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing my dear talented lady ;-)
