'Younger Men'
are more tempting
than
forbidden candies
so sweet, so tantalizing
not so good for me
as a secretly stolen treat
still I have sneaked
a touch, a look, a taste
a nibble
and have been
hotly delighted to find
in very many ways
younger men are like
older men
just younger
and not yet where they
need to be
to fully meet women
such as myself
so finely aged
mellow
and vibrantly tart, crisp
and replete
like a zesty, sharp California Merlot!
truly top wine tasters as you know
do best with not just fine instincts
but the lending of years
to their appraiser's experience.....................

This poem of mine was inspired by reading fellow post poem's poet

cerlean_soulhaze's poem 'Loving An Older Woman' Thanks for the poetry and the inspiration. I thought I was poemed out this evening so thanks again for the catalyst. Enjoy my fellow poetry seekers..............

Oh yeah!

I really do like this a lot!! Someone once told me that every young man (more so if he's an artist) should have at least one experience with an older woman. Unforgettable in so many ways!!! :-)
