DANCING MAVERICK (FOR JONZAC_ALMIGHTY)

Folder:
JOURNAL #39

a 'Dancing Maverick' struck mine eyes
how many poem strips of your fiery flesh
I read
I cannot reply
too many really to count
whether by stone or sty or lingering sliver of doubt
you dragged my wide eyes into caves filled with
drawings I could not readily explain
for I was the welcomed discoverer of
wounds half wrung out
slashed on walls by paints of fair blame
revealed by you the indifferently sensitive wringer
so willing to share the shards of your
private happiness so solidly stashed
beneath the fires of hell's ever flickering flame
love, rage and desire
in all their tawdry, complicated attire
so hats off now to you I poetically say
continue to be
all that you are
the talent, the wit, the essence
all gambled away in fact
by the grace, grievance and grit of
one articulate ballsy dame who
understands the ends and means
of that bully named tact....................
