A MIGHTY PRAYER *

Folder:
JOURNAL #39

Oh Our beloved Meandering Moon
how nearly every possible night
there is
she waits for you and me
fester your life's battle scars not
for they can only bring you
further pain
circumvent the past
and aim your arrows
always future high
as the love we know
lives for no miserly gain
harken your so bewitching stars
just a few times more
permit their vague enchantment's reign
that dazzles your tear filled eyes
seek the balm of the silence of the night
and fear not the wolves and hounds
whom you feel gather to trample upon your
very name
they are old aches and fears my darling so dear
circling back on you only meant to aid
in more self torture
beauty has always been ours to revere
live beyond those moments' sore
rise again so proudly unscathed
for love she ever whispers tirelessly
at your reverent morrow's door
you read my words
you hear my voice
you know the very circumference of
my soul's own atmosphere
my love speaks ever constant
and strongly to your heart
trust is our currency
faith our finest home there is
so allow the fragility of your all too
human thoughts bathed in
such bath beads of doubt
and worry
to softly be loved away
by me, God or better yet still
you
besides right now the distance
only one thing stands between us
and that is the will of God
how so often you yourself
reiterate this very phrase itself to me
and we both know that this is
all just oh so very temporary
as he is THE ONE who so uniquely
introduced us
and our separation and hurting
are such a small price that we have to
each pay
to have that life we seek in
the presence of the other
not only a love for just living
and being alive
enjoying just being among
family and friends
but the near incomprehensible joy
of our being mutually loved by
our one true life time's lover
without ever the possibility of
any sort of end
this surely must give your face
a timeless terrific big grin
while as to these words of quiet hope
I offer up for us 'A Mighty Prayer'
that fully embraces us each in the moment
when we as one brilliantly blend....................
