THIMBLE FULL OF GREED

Folder:
JOURNAL #14

forgive me for what I say

my hasty words mean no foul deed

its easier to pick than pay

we all from time to time must bathe

in even the smallest thimble full of greed

shy shenanigans shoot south their unguarded

actions labor to impede

every last forgetful one of us knows the

routine of

'you are no longer what I think I need'

so call the ship unsailable

curse the undesired doldrums in which

it sits

tell me every loving lie imaginable

but still never beg to differ

that it was you who foolishly dared to call

such a beautiful 'us' quits................
