NO STRANGER DANGER

Folder:
JOURNAL #14

Fight me to guess

I dare you

he said

what an odd expression I thought

coming from a stranger no less

I do not understand

suddenly I confessed

he in turn roared, who needs any form of

understanding in this whole disgusting mess

why now I was even more so perplexed

you care to explain yourself he grunted as if

almost in pain

well, where would you wish me to start?

I foolishly exclaimed

to me this was absurd and dully insane

oh, at the very beginning he bit out,

my dearest Darling of course

but please leave out nothing he quipped

except for your usual acts of feigned remorse

oh, I dumbly acknowledged

not certain exactly what else to say

then a confused light caught his eyes and he

visually shuttered

so not I would assume to sway

oh, but for the love of a most merciful God

it is true

whispered he, you are indeed not her

I said yes, but who pray tell sir are you?

he then all too abruptly turned on his booted

heel and left

all shaken and a stir

nearly disappointed at not knowing just what had

passed between us I walked away too

with every last emotion scratched out in a blur

thinking the essence of what is truly intriguing

does not necessarily have to equal the essence of

what is understood

as you see, I held that man's worst fear yet

happiest hell in my hands

a glitch of fate

trespassed................
