with happy discontent

unbelievable pleasure fills

this once so soured sage

making shear reason man enough

to tote a finer essence to life's

subtle stage

the director though uncertain

makes many a detailed note

of each unfolding scene

though some are all too often

replayed others remain virgin

to another season or just another day

who's script remains to be seen

such thespian like souls of living

get many his own elaborate separate say

as the token prop of the mentor tends

to scrape many an already sorely blistered

palm

yet, even so a single visit to the worship

hall

can create a soothing centered inner calm

for as we all very well know

the Lord works outward from within

and then

come Monday morning no matter what

the living in life continues on

by either spreading the word or perhaps

just keeping it to himself

as God gives us all yet another perfect

curtain call

one in which we almost all too ignorantly

try to respond

but the billboard in our hearts will

eventually read:

'The Spiritual Theatre' is now open

and admission is always free............
