IN GOD AND GRANDMA'S HANDS (death of my oldest sister Wendy)

Folder:
JOURNAL #13

in God and Grandma's hands

my beloved sister softly lies

heeding no more unjust human commands

that an imperfect body belies

tears a plenty and remorse yet fully spent

will I pray soon fade

until each of us can clearly look back

and see just what of her marred young life

she made

a beam of her inner glow touches deeply the

baron griever's soul

while grand visions of possible future purpose

play before me my own likely role

dear sister do be brave and please forget not me

and say hello to Grandma even as I bid a

temporary goodbye to thee

we love you Wendy, Bill, Mom Cindy and I

may your journey be unbarred by our apparent ,

weighted grief

and look to that moment when we will meet again

this time in the presence of our all knowing

and so loving Lord

Amen

this I truly believe.....................
