the knight drags his feet

while his Lady waits none too patiently

and neither believes that its solely up to thee

future promise hails defeat

and the prospect of romance suffers miserably

knowledge leads farce

or is it that farce leads knowledge

either way the roads passed the other by

while trying so hard not to pass

and the wanna be lovers are left to wonder

who did not faithfully follow through

and best of all

why?..............................
