A DAY TOO LONG

Folder:
JOURNAL #9

there is a once green garden snake

slowly living by the drainage lake

that looks like a lonesome looking rake

someone so carelessly left behind

a day too long in the sun

likely a little boy as some form of a child's cruel

fun

to unfairly dehydrate and bake

there is no action in man's dirty hands

left to fill in the gap for all goodness sake

too bad..................
