I miss you so

all the light has walked away

puddles have pooled where my

eyes use to form

your absence is felt after only

a hand full of days

there are clouds blocking the

sky of your eyes with their storm

as in my heart no sun shine rays

the darkness slips onto me

like some coat that no longer fits

the morning is a lover I can no longer

embrace

since when looking for love

I can see only your achingly handsome

face

come back to me

bring your balmy afternoons

and let me bask again

in the heat of your loving gaze

for without your sunshine alone

life is unbearably gray

I miss you so.............
