the kingdom of fallen autumn leaves

Folder:
Pang of Ulster

A desolate one way road

Where color cascades the ground

Past foot steps imbedded imprints

Where souls once were bound

As autumn winds touch down

Bringing the sweet smell of decay

Carrying dead leaves on ethereal arms

Upon clouds of lifeless grey

Whistles the winds of fate

The minute we hear it, its too late

Into the kingdom of fallen autumn leaves

A landscape of beauty and despair

As death is carried throughout the air

Into the kingdom of fallen autumn leaves

Nothing but a wonderland

Sitting atop of deaths hand

Waiting for the end of hourglass sands

And we are just as the leaves

Gently falling away from the trees

Carried off by chilling autumn breeze
