I dreamt of when I saw you,

The sun lit up your eyes.

Glittering like diamonds

High in the night sky.

I dreamt of when you saw me

A smile upon your face

Shy at first and awkward

Until we found our place.



I dreamt a dream of heaven

As heaven was with you,

An angel in her element

As nothing else would do

So perfect and so beautiful

A dream of nothing less

You're my dream come true

From a dream that beat the rest.



I dreamt of our first time alone

When everyone had gone

I stared at you when you looked ahead

So that you'd never have known.



It came the time for me to leave

But I couldn’t let you go,

I dreamt of kissing your soft lips

But my thoughts you didn’t know.

I wish I hadn’t have let you leave

Before our lips did meet

For now I wait for that first kiss

When my heart will skip that beat

But now that moment’s put on hold

As with progression emotions range

And that moment seems infinitely impossible

All part of time’s change
