To my world, my life,

I write tonight,

A story of you, and my love at first sight.

Once upon a wretched time,

I dialed a number, you were on the line.

You answer the phone, I had no choice.

I gasped for air at the sound of your voice.

As you continue to talk, I continue to smile,

I knew, right then, it was all worthwhile.

The caring in your voice, affected me.

It's almost as if, you set me free.

I smile, I giggle, I laugh, I converse,

I am no longer sad, I no longer hurt.

You laugh, you smile, you talk and you joke.

And I just found out,

That my heart never broke.

It was bruised, and scarred, and torn, and crushed.

But you bandaged it up, and healed the cuts!

My healer, my heaven, my doctor, my nurse,

I know now, that you are my first.

I love you so, so much it's grand.

As I walk you to your door, holding your hand.

We're together now, as this story unfolds.

It's not yet finished, not yet been told.

As I think back, to the times we've had,

There is nothing I can think of, that ever truly made me sad.

I fell in love with you,and i'm sure that you love me.

You're the greatest, you're the best,

My beautiful wife-to-be.

The story continues on, there is much more to be said.

There is much more story, to be told, now 'till the day we wed.

Back to the story, back on track, back to the history,

Of the love I used to lack.

So as you healed me,as you saved me,

I've lived much better, I've been happy lately.

You fix my problems, you repair my pain.

You light up my day, even in the rain.

Never before, never again,

Never will I, love another woman.

I've fallen for you, I've risen in love.

You are my rose, you are my dove.

So as my story winds down, to an exciting ending,

My love never will, there's no questions pending.

I love you baby, so very much.
