Sharks are circling your deepest pit
filled to the brim with ogres' spit
acid swirling in your eyes
and pouring down the drain.
rows of teeth filing back
preparing for a swift attack
bolting forth from the sky
and mixing with the rain.
overflow, azure lies
fill my throat with liquid hate
I never thought I'd find the time
to rear all of you to full strength.
Floating down a bloated river
stay afloat on but a sliver
of rusted blades that slice my skin
and draw the hunters near.
Splash and kick for escape
dont believe that its too late
to reach a muddy, bloodied shore
eroded by some lying tears.
Blue surface placid sits below
blue depths of light above
sinking to a blackened core
searching for your love
you spurn my reaching hand in spite
you say I'll never find the light
destined to worm forever
beneath these thrashing waves
I throw you in a raging current
I'll make you my slave.
I'll turn you towards the razor fish
that navigate these tides
fill my lungs with freezing water
destiny defied.
A single teardrop falls.
Bursting when it meets solidity
scatter electric squalls.
Give my life some validity.
